Academy for Safety and Survival (ASAS) was established on 24th August 2000 with the registration of DANAZMIR CONSULTANCY.  We aim to provide quality training programs and to be the preferred training provider in Malaysia and internationally. ASAS provides courses designed to increase a person’s knowledge and skills in safety & survival and at the same time to continually enhance human assets for a better work culture. With a combination of classroom lectures and carefully planned outdoor activities, our programs are created in such a way to make it fun, exciting and challenging with emphasis on safety.

Our area of specialization is in safety & survival training and adventure learning programs. Our trainers and consultants have a good track record in providing training and services. With years of experience between them, they are experts in their own fields. Training and services can be conducted in-house and can be tailored to suit client’s needs.

Our Safety and Survival training ranges from First Aid and Fire Fighting to more specialized trainings such as High Angle Rescue, Water Safety & Aquatic Rescue, Sea Survival, Emergency Response and Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).

On the Adventure side we conduct Teambuilding programs on a regular basis to corporate clients and Summer Camp programs for school children. We also conduct swimming lessons and life saving training for colleges, schools, individuals and hotel personnel.

Our Milestone

In 2003 our aspiration to become an international training provider was realised with the establishment of our working relationship with Jakarta Offshore Training Centre (JOTC). With this relationship, we embarked on an instructor exchanging program to enhance our knowledge and to expose our personnel to international clients.

In 2004 we ventured further into the oil and gas industry owing to the demand for upstream offshore safety training. Consequently we registered ourselves with PETRONAS through our joint training program with Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM). A year later in 2005, we were approved by PETRONAS to conduct Basic Offshore Safety and Emergency Training (BOSET) for offshore personnel.

Our presence in the international training market was further enhanced in 2006 with the establishment of a working relationship with Star Safety Training Centre in Balikpapan, Indonesia and in 2008 with Kish Int. Sea safety School (KSSS) in Kish Island, Iran.
